Wednesday: We are back to winter…. there are low snow clouds over Bolton today and it is quite windy. At 8am it is 10 degrees. There is 3-4″ of windblown snow on top of a hard transformed icy layer…. but once things are groomed skiing should be pretty good. We plan to have grooming in the afternoon, so please check back for updates.
Tuesday: The warm weather and rain of Monday took its toll on the conditions here at Bolton Valley Nordic, but it was not enough to keep away a bus load of eager High School Students from Essex and Mount Mansfield. Tuesday has been a return to winter temperature and the skate skiing was fast and fun. With the anticipated winter storms approaching we will be back to great conditions by wednesday or thursday of this week!
