Beautiful blue sky day.
Saturday: 10km groomed and it is soft granular snow. We had a couple nice hours of skiing this morning an now it is raining. There is still snow on the trails… but check back tomorrow for conditions update.
Saturday we are hosting the CVU Annual Holiday Race. Race course is Picnic and Valley. See the Events page for full race details.
Picnic Loop - looks good.
Friday: It’s a beautiful early morning. Clear, cold and it looks like it will be a really nice ski day. Greg is out grooming now. And it will be fast snow today. We still have pretty good coverage after the past couple of weather events. And we have 12 km groomed and tilled today. There are no tracks set- the snow is just too hard and thin in some places to get a track set.
Check out our lessons and programs page for lots of info about special holiday week programs. Today we have beginner lessons at 10am and 1pm and a Explorer Snowshoe Tour from 2-4pm. Call to make a reservation.
Groomers going out just as the sun rises over the mtns.
The Bolton backcountry is the perfect place for a ski or snowshoe adventure . . . trails winding through these woods.
We have great new hats, gloves, mittens and sox for sale. Maybe it's time to replace those worn out gloves.
