January 7th: It’s a winter storm day at Bolton. Lots of new snow and lots of wind.  We will not have any new grooming today.  At 9am there is 4-6 inches of new snow from last night and it is 15 degrees.  The wind is quite severe, but once you get out on the trails and into the woods things should be a little more protected.

January 6th at NOON: It is up to 20 degrees and we just had a wave of skiers returning from their nordic and back-country adventures raving about how amazing both the day and conditions are! We have the occasional passing cloud, but bring your sun glass and leave those wind vests at home.

It is 15 degrees outside and the snow was falling this morning. With an inch last night and a dusting this morning the trails are getting better and better. Our last grooming was on sunday, but the trails are skiing very well. Maple Loop has been opened, although there are a couple of waterbars in places. With the snow that is forecasted over the next two days Maple should be all set. So come on up and check it out for yourself. For current reports, give the Nordic Center a call at 434-6876.
