What’s in your pack?

DIY Portable Repair Kit

multitool, screwdriver, rubber ski strap, zip ties, duct tape, hose clamp, extra bootlace, glopstopper wax (stops snow from sticking to skins), extra binding straps/screws, scraper, lighter and small piece of p-tex.  (info from sept issue of backcountry magazine)

Old Goats- clearing trails is fun!

Saturday September 25th: Fall Trail Celebration on Section 12

Help us begin our fall season of trail work in style!  Over a dozen CTA volunteers, the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps, VT Forest Parks and Recreation, and UVM students cleared over 4 miles of trail, built two bridges, and began carving out a gorgeous new section of the Catamount Trail this summer.  But we aren’t done.   Learn more and register to participate.

Fall Work DaysThe fall trail workday schedule is out.  View the complete schedule of workdays, from September through December, and from Massachusettes to Quebec.  Find a date and location that works for you and come on out for some trail clearing, brushing, and blazing.

Season passes are at their best prices right now.  We are psyched about another winter of great snow and awesome skiing!

Prices increase September 20th.  BUY ONLINE

Adult — $120 now and $160 after Sept 20

Youth (7-17)– $90 now and $120 after Sept 20

Senior (over 70)–$90 now and $120 after Sept 20

College–$90 now and $120 after Sept 20

Nordic Season Passes Include-

  • 100km of Nordic and backcountry skiing
  • Snowshoe trail access
  • Sports Center Membership which includes an indoor heated pool, hot tub and sauna.
  • 20% off Rentals
  • 20% off Retail
  • 20% off Group Ski/Ride Lessons
  • 20% off Lodging – either condos, suites or hotel rooms. (based on availability)

Nordic Season Pass benefits continue all season long and you’re welcome to use them as often as you’d like. Benefits are for the passholder only and do not apply to getting discounts for friends or family. Sports Center Access does not include access to the Indoor Amusement Center or inflatable games.

³Child is age 6 and under. Youth is ages 7-17. Senior is ages 70+. Passholder age is determined by their age on 12/1/10.  College Students must bring letter from registrar proving full time status when picking up their pass.

All 2010-2011 products are valid for the 2010-2011 season which is expected to run from December 2010 to early April 2011 weather and snow conditions permitting.
